Fort Worth woman killed prior to being found dead in house fire

FORT WORTH, TX – Detectives with the Fort Worth Police Department are investigating a homicide after a woman was found dead in a house fire Monday morning.

According to KRLD, firefighters pulled the victim’s body from a home on Halloran Street that had caught fire. Although, officials determined the cause of death to be a homicide and not from injuries sustained in the blaze.

No details regarding the cause of the fire or the identity of the victim have been released as Tuesday.

Police are seeking the public’s help in providing any information that may lead to an arrest or witness to this crime.
