Several prostitution arrests in Tarrant County

TARRANT COUNTY, TX – Officials in Tarrant County arrested five individuals on prostitution charges on Monday, August 17th.

According to official booked in reports from the Tarrant County Jail, these arrests took place in numerous cities within county limits, such as Arlington, Burleson, Fort Worth, and Haltom City.

A person in Tarrant County can be charged with prostitution under Section 43.02 of the Texas Penal Code in two situations:

  1. A person offers or agrees to RECEIVE a fee from another to engage in sexual conduct.
  2. A person offers or agrees to PAY a fee to another to engage in sexual conduct with that person or another.
