Man charged in connection with murder of a transgender woman

DALLAS, TX – The North Texas Fugitive Task Force have arrested a 20-year-old man accused of shooting and killing a transgender woman on June 30th.

The suspect was arrested in the late morning on Thursday, July 9th. He was booked and charged with murder with bail set at $900,000 according to a report by WFAA.

22-year-old Merci “Pooda” Mack was found dead in the parking lot of a South Dallas apartment complex after being shot multiple times.
